Chemtrails rain aluminum nanoparticles on man, beast, and land. “Chemtrails” is a spin-off from “contrails,” which are the condensation trails sometimes left behind flying aircraft. Some believe these contrails are chemical trails being deliberately sprayed from aircrafts for unknown reasons.
There is current concern in the United States about the increasing number of neurodegenerative patients. Since 2000, the number of Alzheimer’s patients has increased from 4.5 million to 5.4 million in 2012. One in eight people 65 or older have Alzheimer’s. A yearly increase seems inevitable because of the aging population, but environmental factors also play a role.

I keep seeing this girl around town with a pink bicycle without a helmet! She is nuts.
I mean helmet hair sure- but risk death or serious injury? Stupidity. Perhaps she will see this blog and save her head?
DIY decoupaged bike helmet:
So easy. I bought a $30 helmet from Kmart, cut up a bunch of beautiful magazines (mostly a black and white vintage clothes spread from NYLON magazine) and glued it on!
I still need to wheatpaste over the top of the helmet but at the moment I think it looks great!
The strap is bright orange so I’m still deciding whether I want to add something bright orange to the side, like a flower or something.
So easy, even people with chodey hands can do.
I was inspired by this awesome helmet by Nutcase
Mwahaha, smug smile in my cute new helmet! Pleased…

On self care, and loving yourself.
There was a time not too long ago when I was so incredibly self-loathing and tired of life that I wanted desperately to leave Laura on a park bench somewhere and run off on her so she wouldn’t follow me around anymore.
When you have negative thought patterns, everything you encounter you will encounter as a negative experience. Motives around help, love and friendship will be questioned. Any positive energy or encouragement from others will escape you through a wonderfully unhelpful thought-sieve. Your heart can become so heavy that you find yourself dragging your feet just to get around. There can be no purpose to your days because everything you do is worthless.
When you’re around people who bring you down it’s inevitable that your confidence will eventually be eroded until you either die, or hit your bum on rock bottom. And after you…

Please view Paper People, a video by Francis Hadid. Francis was so inspired by Jess Barlow and her plans for The Brainwash Project, that she got together with Jess to help her mission.
Jess is unhappy with women’s magazines. She’s put together a national petition and a pledge on Pozible for money to fund The Brainwash Project, a new body-positive, culturally diverse magazine for young women and girls.
Here is what Jess has to say on her petition page about why she started The Brainwash Project:
Reality is beautiful. Stop using Photoshop to alter appearances.
In high school, not a day would go by without hearing another girl complain about her weight or appearance. I saw girls get severely bullied and excluded because they didn’t live up to the beauty ideals of women in magazines. And it made me want to doctor my own appearance even…

Civil Disobedience is a necessary element of bringing about positive change and standing up against the wrongful behaviour, secrecy, deceit, and non-transparency of Government, big Corporations, Multinationals, Arms Dealers, Environmental Vandals (refer back to the Govt, Corps, MultiNats, Arms Dealers, etc). Our SlutWalkHobart 2012 was technically an act of Civil Disobedience — as Tas Police told us not to do it, that we did not have their support, that if anything went wrong or if anyone got hurt that it was all going to be on the shoulders of one young 22 y/o organising committee member because she was the liaison person, that we had no permit, etc….and yet we had the support of organisations and people such as Amnesty International Australia, Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Commissioner Robin Banks, and Minister Cassy O’Connor. Sometimes, Civil Disobedience isn’t just necessary, it becomes a Civil Obligation of Responsible Citizens!!!
